Sober October: A Journey of Mindfulness & Self-Discover

Join us for a transformative Sober October experience, centered around mindfulness, energetic awareness, and deep self-exploration. This is not necessarily about achieving perfect sobriety, but is more about exploring your relationship with alcohol in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

What to Expect:

  • In-Person Sessions: We will gather twice during the month—once at the start and once at the end—at Soul Tree Yoga. These sessions will give us a chance to connect, set intentions, and reflect together. During our first meeting we will be making altar pieces to serve as visual reminders of our commitment to ourselves.
  • Mindfulness & Energetic Awareness: Learn techniques to increase self-awareness around your drinking habits, cultivating energy and mindfulness practices that will support your journey.
  • Journal Prompts & Reflection: Throughout October, you’ll receive journal prompts designed to help you dive into the deep-rooted “why” behind your relationship with alcohol. These will guide your reflection on personal beliefs, patterns, and the cultural expectations around drinking.
  • Online Support: Between the in-person meetings, we’ll stay connected online, mostly through email communication. There will also be options for video calls for anyone who wants deeper connection or guidance throughout the month.
  • Diving into the “Why”: This group is focused on more than just reducing alcohol use. We’re here to explore the underlying belief systems, uncover personal patterns, and better understand how societal norms shape our behaviors.
  • No Judgement, No Expectations: Whether you choose to be fully sober or simply want to reduce your intake, this group is a safe space for you. All that’s needed is a willingness to explore your relationship with alcohol and a curiosity about your inner world.
